Please don't try to flash a S-ATA device with a P-ATA firmware and vice versa. You could damage your drive in doing so. To be on the save side, please read the Update Procedure under menu item 'Firmware updates' before you flash the drive. Our firmware installer is only available as a WindowsInstaller.
Important: Our Firmware Updates are not compatible with those provided by OEM vendors (e.g. HP, Dell, Fujitsu-Siemens etc.). You may damage your drive if you flash it with incompatible firmware.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Do not forget to check with our site as often as possible in order to stay updated on the latest drivers, software and games.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed a wrong driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
